Use and transmission of your personal data
The information collected in the forms is subject to computer processing intended for the sole use of Stock 2CV for the proper processing of your order. No information is passed on to third parties.
For security reasons, your payment details are not stored by the site, they are only entered by you on Stripe’s secure site. When payments are processed, certain data will be transmitted, including information required to complete the payment, such as the total amount to be paid or billing information.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset e-mail.
The rights you have over your data
You have the right to access and rectify any information held about you. You may also, for legitimate reasons, object to the processing of data concerning you.
You can exercise this right of access by writing to the company address or by using the contact form.
This does not include data stored for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Data collected and stored
Details of your order
During your visit to the site, we monitor :
- Products you’ve seen: for example, to display products you’ve recently viewed
- Location, IP address and browser type: we use these to estimate delivery costs.
- Delivery address: we’ll ask you to enter this so that we can estimate the delivery costs before you place your order, and send it to you!
When you place an order on our website, we will ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, delivery address, e-mail address, telephone number, payment/credit card details and possibly account details such as username and password. This information will be used to:
- Sending information about your account and order
- Payment processing
- Setting up your account for our shop
- Compliance with any legal obligation
Data linked to your account
If you create an account, we store your name, address, e-mail and telephone number, which will be used to pre-fill the order validation for future orders.
For accounts that register on our site (where applicable), we store the personal data indicated in their profile. All accounts can view, modify or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception of their user ID). Site managers can also view and modify this information.
Statistical data
Anonymous connection data is collected for our consultation statistics and site optimisation. This includes browser type, IP address of the visiting computer, pages visited, days and times of visit…. This information is for the exclusive use of the site administrator and is not passed on to third parties.
Data linked to the contact form
To protect our contact form, we use the reCAPTCHA solution. The processing of data exchanged with Google is described in the following documents: Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
Length of time your data is stored
We generally store your information for as long as we need it for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally obliged to continue to do so. For example, we store order information for 5 years for accounting purposes. This includes your name, email and billing and delivery addresses.
Cookies
We love to eat cookies, but we’re not keen on those linked to tracking. We only use the technical cookies that are necessary for the site to function properly and for you to be able to navigate around.
If you go to the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain any personal data and will be deleted automatically when you close your browser.
When you log on, we will set a number of cookies to record your login information and screen preferences. The lifetime of a connection cookie is two days, that of a screen option cookie is one year. If you tick “Remember me”, your connection cookie will be kept for a fortnight. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be deleted.
We also use cookies to track the contents of your shopping basket while you are browsing our site.
Embedded content from other sites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves in the same way as if the visitor were visiting that other site.
